Danielle N. Grenier is the Marketing Communications Specialist for Gitterman Wealth Management’s SMART (Sustainability Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance) Investing Services, which offers individual and financial professionals investment opportunities in the ESG (environmental, social and governance) arena. Danielle is a successful strategy and client relationship professional with 9+ years of experience in financial services and consulting. As the Marketing Communications Specialist, she strategizes and delivers marketing activities and manages client relationships.
Prior to joining the firm, she consulted clients on socially responsible investing and ESG initiatives, focusing on research, strategy and client communications. Previously, Danielle led investor services for a private consulting and competitive intelligence research firm where she advised leading asset managers on the digital user experience across multiple channels. She researched and wrote about how corporate social responsibility, ESG, and sustainable investing are influencing and shaping the current asset management industry.
Danielle has a Masters in Political Science with a concentration in Corporate Social Responsibility and International Relations from the University of Victoria. She also holds an Honors Bachelor’s degree from Niagara University where she achieved two conference championships as the captain of the Women’s Division I Tennis Team.
Danielle has global exposure to 25+ countries and is very passionate about renewables and sustainable practices. She raised funds for the UN organization Right to Play and climbed to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. She also served as a member of the Young Professionals Program at New Alternatives for Children.
